Adaptor plates, socket blocks and elbows are mainly used on flameproof equipment to adapt from one type of socket to another. Adaptor plates can be used to change a socket to a gland entry.
The fuse holders were designed for high-speed fuses rated from 1 kV-1.5 kV AC/DC. It is a small unit and easily added in an electrical system. The main protection is intended for UPS systems, AC and DC drives, small motors and transformers on the primary and secondary side. The 1000 V fuse holder is mainly used to protect electrical circuits and transformers in electrical panels. A whole range of fuses are available that can be supplied, and consists of 1:2:4:6.3: 10 and 16 A.

Three different types of key switches are manufactured, namely high security, normal Ronnis and electronic key switches.
Pilot lights come in two different sizes namely M20 and M25 x 1,5 mm. There are also three different colours, namely red, green and orange. The voltage on them come in 12, 24, 110, 220 V.

CAMERA SYSTEMS
Jewll’s camera system consists of various equipment that can vary to the customer’s specific requirements. We offer compact thermal imaging cameras that significantly reduce the hazards of driving in places with little to no visibility, especially underground. It enables drivers to see much further, with improved clarity compared to standard vision or headlights.
Drivers can detect and monitor people passing by a vehicle, animals, or objects on or near the road, allowing more time to react to any potential danger.
The PathFindIR incorporates an uncooled 320x240 pixels micro bolometer. This maintenance-free system delivers crisp video images which can be displayed on virtually any display that accepts composite video.
The PathFindIR is equipped with a 19-mm wide-angle lens. It gives you an extremely wide field of vision (36°), resulting in excellent situational awareness.
The PathFindIR combined with the complete flameproof enclosure is extremely rugged. Its vital core is well protected against humidity and water. The PathFindIR camera itself operates between -40 °C and +80 °C.
The camera also has a built-in heater to defrost its protective window. The heater is capable of defrosting a 2-mm layer of ice frozen to the window within 15 minutes when ambient temperature is -30 °C and wind speed against the window is 100 km/h. The heater is automatically powered when the window temperature is less than +4 °C and powered down when the window temperature is more than +6 °C. This ensures a clear lens and perfect infrared images displayed on your monitor even in extremely cold environments.

Surface cameras are used on diesel and petrol tankers for monitoring and detecting incidents. These cameras can be used on oil rigs, petrol chemical plants and other hazardous areas. The cameras also have fast auto focus lens and high resolution image sensors and a high-capacity battery. The camera is enabled to take detailed images in dark and confined spaces due to an extremely light sensitive image sensor as well as a powerful LED light.

Better known as a machine area light to be fitted on machines and switchgear thereby ensuring safe visibility around the machine and/or switchgear.
The flameproof area flasher with battery back-up is designed and developed for mobile machines that have stopped with no power. By pressing the back-up flasher push button the flasher will light up to make the machine easily visible. An extra six to eight hours battery life is thus provided.
The flasher and siren are assembled in a single flameproof housing to save space when mounted on machines. These units can be fitted with either multi-toned or multi-coloured flashers.
A uniquely designed Jewll product for use on machine lock-out systems.. This will allow the supervisor to bypass the machine safety system to do maintenance on the machine.
These units are designed to display the voltage, amps and hours operated of any machine at any given time.
The flameproof vehicle lights are designed in two different sizes that each provides the required 10 lux at 20 m as per DMR specifications.
Various colours of indication lights are manufactured for surface and underground panels. These are used to indicate safe, hazardous and emergency situations. Live-line indication lights can be connected straight to a 1000 V supply and is there to indicate that all three phases are in working order.

These boxes can be used on either scoops, LHDs and other mobile machines that require a battery back-up function.
Compressor panels are manufactured in various sizes ranging from 20 kW to 400 kW. These panels can be wired with different overloads as well as in different voltages.
Gully boxes are manufactured and populated to customer requirements and specifications.
Starter panels can be manufactured from 3.7 kW up to 400 kW, flameproof and non-flameproof. Voltages vary from 380 to 1000 V.

Jewll Industries was the first flameproof company to implement the concept of going underground and to repair and audit products on-site. We have since perfected this to a fine art. Since 1996 Jewll has repaired many flameproof enclosures, CMs, shuttle cars, roof bolters and a variety of flameproof enclosures. Jewll also has the means to audit mining equipment underground and we keep record of all flameproof equipment to ensure that the mine complies with DMR regulations.

A wide range of control transformers and lighting transformers in different KvA ratings is supplied. We have embarked on new ventures of repairing flameproof and non-flameproof transformer tanks, from 200 KvA to 2.5 MvA. The latter also includes repairing and repopulating of LV and HV compartments.
For proto teams in mine disasters
The limitation of sight and light in the mine, especially during power failures and mine disasters, makes it necessary to have an instrument capable of locating thermal heat radiated by humans. This will enable proto teams to track and locate humans in the event of a disaster/power failure when they are unable to indicate or communicate their location.
After investigation and trials by Jewll, the thermal observation tool has been proven capable of meeting the need in mines to be able to locate humans in such unusual situations. This unit can now be used in coal mines due to its certification which renders it suitable for use in hazardous environments.
This magnificent compact, lightweight thermal observation tool, namely the LTO-Tracker, is powered by a CR123 lithium battery and is 14.2 cm long, weighing around 280 g. It stands out as a compact lightweight compared to standard thermal devices used in the industry.
The LTO-Tracker also comes with a digital 6 x zoom facility, a 21⁰ angle of vision, a heat sensor with a resolution of 206 x 156, a high fast-frame image frequency of 30 Hertz and six selectable colour palettes.
The manufacturer claims an operating range of up 549 m.
After switching it on, the LTO-Tracker is fired up and ready to go within three seconds. The round ocular has a diameter of 30 mm and a display resolution of 240 x 204 pixels.
The worlds first flameproof pallet jack with nylon steering wheels and stainless steel tandem load wheels that can be used in spray booths, petrochemical plants and all hazardous areas, designed and developed by Jewll. It is certified for use on surface and underground.
The quick disconnector was designed for flameproof underground and surface areas to give quick access for replacements of cameras, lights, generators, control stations and many more. Simply unscrew the unit and replace with another unit. No opening of flameproof boxes and hot-work permits needed for this. The change can be done with uninterrupted power on the unit.
