The base station forms an integral part of the RF system. Base stations are deployed along all major hot spots. The base station communicates with the RF devices over long distances. The alarm events are then forwarded to control rooms and security personnel. There are already a large number of base stations in South Africa, Swaziland and Botswana. The RF systems are covering large risk areas and these base stations can be interrogated to find a missing or stolen asset.

It gives an alarm when cables are moved. It features a full 3-axis accelerometer as well as over-the-air (OTA) configuration. Stolen cables fitted with the CABLE Security can easily be recovered. The CABLE Security is recommended for rail track boxes and other vulnerable risk equipment. It is often also fitted into video cameras for recovery and tamper alert. The devices alert on movement, and this RFID features a high-power radio signal to recover the asset.

It is fitted on fences for notification of perpetrators climbing/crossing/cutting the fence. Different variants are supported for concrete, palisade and mesh wire fences. The FENCECop for electric fences alarms if the fence voltage drops below a minimum voltage indicating an intruder is climbing over the fence.

It features capacitive touch sensors and alarms if the presence of a human hand/finger is detected. This device is ideal for detecting tampering on train coaches or wire panels.

This panic button covers a long range. The panic button will remain transmitting until the base station acknowledges the alarm. A green LED indicates the alarm was delivered to the control room. An option is in place to let management know very early when something is wrong. They will be in charge to be able to quickly resolve the danger. This button has different options to conceal it from sight.

These are fitted on all underground cables outside the substations. The base station coverage is approximately 35 km.

These offer early warning and are fitted above the cable trench and along the perimeter protecting the sub stations. The beam consists of two parts on either end of a solar powered base. A range of beams from 40- to 300-meter distances are supported. The beams are dual beams to eliminate false alarms.

Personnel monitoring and biometric access control for remote sites. It can open doors for authorised employees and it can also be used for clocking of guards while patrolling. The features are the following;

This is a toughened lock. The GPS lock does not require power to remain locked, only to unlock. The lock mechanism automatically locks when the door is closed. We extensively use this product on cargo doors, sub station doors, vaults and cabinets.

The cell phone detector can detect any cellular phone. It covers and protects a large area from perpetrators carrying a cellular phone, even directly under high voltage restricted areas. This is ideal for human presence detection from 2 m up to 1,5 km (a large terrain).A perpetrator simply has to carry a cellular phone with him. Portable devices can also assist security personnel to locate hiding thieves. It is the lowest cost alternative to ground radar systems. Perpetrators’ cellular phones make them detectable and distinguishable from other large animals.

Manage your guard activity in real time and validate the patrol routes. Real-time guard attendance and patrol monitoring devices only allows a maximum of two minutes in lavatories. Each patrol point is fitted with a tag. The tags are normally mounted on a wall or pole secured with screws and epoxy, and is water proof and corrosion resistant. If radio beacons are also fitted then the guard simply has to walk in the area of the radio beacon. In the event that the guard stops patrolling and the patrol interval is exceeded, notification will be sent and an alarm sounded.
